In July of 1984, Bill Hempel started Hempel Pipe & Supply, Inc.

Bill started the company out of his Father In-Law's (Joman Steel) scrap company. Bill knew that by boosting inventory and offering "outstanding service" he would succeed. His ideas and hard work paid off. For the first 10 years the company had annual sales increases of 25 percent.

In August of 1994 he moved the company into a new facility at 951 S. Rolff Street. The complex, which includes a 20,000 square foot warehouse and a 200 foot long covered pipe shed on 5 acres, is just up from the company's old location. 

Hempel stocks pipe ranging from 1/8" diameter all the way up to 36" diameter. Since opening in 1984 Hempel has built an inventory that ranges from standard pipe fittings up to your "hard to find items!" If they don't have it on the shelf you can rest assure it will be delivered the next day.

In November 2001, Hempel opened its second location in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hempel's goals with that location are to service the Power Industry and offer its services to the Industrial/Commercial contractors in the Southwest Region.

With the addition of Las Vegas division, Hempel Pipe now totals 25,000 square feet of product space and 18 employees that make up the team that sees your order through from start to finish.
